Okay, I got preoccupied with being in charge of the Paso Robles Community Art Project which is sponsored by the Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association. We are replacing all the wine barrel planters (over 100) in downtown Paso Robles with wine barrels painted by local artists. We are currently halfway through the project with close to 50 barrels painted and in place.
I've had several other projects going at the same time, including doing the art and layout for the Olive and Lavender Festival posters and I just finished a commission for Travel Paso that everyone can see at the Mid State Fair. Therefore, I have not updated or posted for quite some time! So the news flash is this: I will once again be moving my studio this time to a location downtown at 1030 Railroad St. Suite 103 (the space formerly occupied by Dot's 1890 House Framing Shop. The space will be a working studio and also a gallery of my work , a room for the barrel painting project, I will also have another artist working in one of the rooms and the third room will be my jewelry making area. I will be posting more details as the date for the move gets closer and I will be announcing my Grand Opening and hours. I look forward to seeing everyone in my new space that will be much more accessible for people visiting downtown Paso Robles.
